ATM Tp/SL adjustment by scaling in

Hey Team,

i have some kind of an big issue for me. I like to scale in by trading, means i normally buy another position in my existing one if it goes negativ. Right now i have an issue with ninja trader. My TP and SL is not getting adjusted to the new Position/Price and i always have to move this one manually. Can someone assist me with this issue.

Thanks for writing in.

To achieve this you will want to use the following steps to change your ATM Strategy selection mode.

• Right click in in the Chart Trader panel or SuperDOM->Properties
• Select "Keep selected Atm strategy template on order submission" from the ATM Strategy selection mode drop down menu
• Click Ok

With this mode your positions will get their own stop loss and targets instead of being combined to an existing strategy. I have included a link below to our Help Guide that goes over the different ATM Strategy Selection Modes.

Hey Christoph, but then i have to different TPs and SLs for one Position. I want them to be adjusted to my current open position and not have several ones.

Currently when scaling in with "Select active ATM strategy on order submission" selected the additional Stop and Profit will automatically be combined to the original price levels and there is not an option to have these move automatically based on the new average entry price therefore would need to be modified manually.
