    My Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage will not connect ...

    I have been through what feels like every forum on the web and tried multiple different fixes but my Rithmic Trader Pro will not connect with my NinjaTrader. My NinjaTrader options are different than what most walkthrough are showing. I do not have an option to put in my license key under "HELP" ... My password and username under connections are correct and no punctual errors. I've submitted tickets for help with no assistance as of yet and am kind of pressed for time as I'd like to take advantage of purchasing multiple accounts from Apex, however today is the last day for the "sale" ... hoping someone here can help me figure this out quickly

    Have you downloaded and installed RTrader/Pro and
    'accepted' the two electronic documents?​

    Technically, RTrader/Pro and NT8 do not need to 'connect'
    together via that Plugin mode feature.

    I mean, have you tried disabling Plugin mode?

    What is the exact version of NinjaTrader you are using?
    The version is available under CC > Help > About

    Can you post screenshots of whatever errors you are seeing?

    At the time of your posting, all markets are closed. This is the
    July 4th holiday period.

    Futures markets will reopen at 3pm PST, which is about 15 mins
    from now.

    This could be contributing to your issue -- sometimes connections
    fail during these periods due to some kind of server maintenance.

    Retry connecting again after the markets open.

    My email from Apex says their sale ends July 6th,

    "APEX JULY 4th SALE.
    Apex will be offering 90% off all evaluation sizes and 80%
    recurring until the end of day on July 6th at 11:59 EST​"

ID:	1258830​This is the error I am getting when clicking to connect to the RithmicTrader .... I am using the lates version of NinjaTrader (8.1.1.7) ... I thought the Apex sale was over today, so hearing that it is the 6th is good news. Hopefully will give me time to get this figured out.. Plugin Mode For Market Data is Disabled. Ive been getting this error all day long while attempting to fix. Im pretty computer savvy but this has me pretty stumped. my rTrader shows the eval acct as active and both rTrader and NinjaTrader are running at the same time. Thanks for the reply BTW

        Hello Support,

        I am also having similar issue.... I was able to connect using NinjaTrader on Friday. But I couldn't connect since yesterday 6pm EDT (where markets open).

        When I try to connect, all I see is "Yellow" status on the account section and it will never connect.

        Could you please help as well?

          I upgraded my NT to latest version, removed credentials and re-entered.... nothing worked.

          I am attaching screenshot for reference

            I was on the latest version ... i ended up uninstalling that and installing the version prior to the latest and everything seems to be working for me ... for now lol

                marzsec44 I tried uninstalling latest version and installed previous version (8.0.28.0 64-bitz), still facing same issue..... I imported License Key as well and tried connecting, but it stuck with "Yellow" status.

                  Thank you very much for your posts.

                  The most common reason for this error is if the "System" is not correctly set. For Apex accounts, this needs to be set to "Apex".

                  If you have not yet followed the steps below to migrate your license key, this option might not be available;

                  How Can I Migrate My License Key Into the Latest Version of NinjaTrader Desktop?

                  If you have already migrated your license key and still can't connect, please send us your log & trace files and we can best assist you further.

                  You can do this by going to the Control Center -> Help -> Email Support

                  Please select "Platform Technical Support" as the recipient and enter a brief "ATTN Manfred" note in the message.
