where are the HOT keys stored?

    HI NT support:

I was migrating to another NT environment and needed to know where the hotkey data is saved on disk so that I may migrate them over as well instead of keying all of them in again from scratch. Can you help? thanks.

    Hello Spartacus,

    Thank you for your post.

This information is held within the 'UI' file in your NinjaTrader Documents folder which is included when backing up your 'Configuration Files'.

      Thank you, Spencer.

Should I migrate over the config file as well, do you know?

        Yes, definitely.

        Among other things,
Config.xml contains the credentials for all connections you have
        configured in the Connections menu.

        Added any assembly references?
Imported any thrid-party assemblies or paid products?
All 'assembly reference' information is maintained in Config.xml.

          Hello Spartacus,

          Thank you for your post.

You may transfer your Config file over if you wish. This would contain your connection settings, however your usernames and passwords will be wiped due to the different machine ID of the computer.

You will need to re-enter this information into your connections.

It would also move over any references to any 3rd party add-ons you have.

You would also need to reach out to the developers of your add-ons with the new machine ID which can be found under Help > About.
