    Ninjatrader Data feeds and configuration

What I am trying to figure out how to do is setup a single instance of Ninjatrader that allows me to trade my funded Apex accounts AS WELL AS options on futures, OR, at a minimum, be able to trade Options on futures in SIM

Ninjatrader is setup using Apex's provided credentials - License Key, Rithmic Data.

I also have a live account with top of book $4/month data, but this account does not have a license. Just the SIM license key and data.

I have tried to use the Apex credentials (license key) and setup a second data connection using my Continuum data, but it is giving me a log in credential failure.

I have the most up to date version of NT installed.

At a minimum I would like to at least be able to SIM trade options on futures in some way from one instance of ninjatrader and I cant figure out a good way to do it.

Can anyone advise? Seems overly complicated tbh

    Hello JesseOffshore,

    Thank you for your post.

You would first need to connect to a data feed that supports Options on Futures Data.

This is outlined in the following link for Data by Provider: Data by Provider

Please note that the Continuum WebAPI is currently not supported.

You my then find each Connection Guide here.

Lastly, if you would like us to investigate your Continuum connection, please follow the steps below to manually send your log and trace files so I may investigate this matter further.
    • Open the Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
    • Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to an email to support [AT] ninjatrader [DOT] com
      • Please include 'ATTN Spencer' in the Subject line and a link to this forum post in the body of the email
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
