same type data source but different presentation

Hallo, can someone please explain to me how this is even possible?
1st data layer minute data without tick replay 30 days of history
2nd data layer minute data without tick replay 180 days of history
some more demanding indicators (volume) do not have a depth limit, and other simpler ones (price action), on the contrary, benefit from the depth, therefore two data layers
sometimes the differences are even more significant, this is an example from today

    Hello,

Does the issue persist if you right click the chart and select 'reload historical data'?

If so, does this persist if you load two data series of the same time frame, for instance 30 days on both?

Reload data didn't fix that. And yes if depth of history for same timeframe is equal - issue disappear...but question is what is the right presentation.. wierd

And also, how do I know that, for example, an indicator that works with PA running in Market Analyzer works with correct information?

        Hello,

Indicators running in the market analyzer would be running off the live data combined with the historical data provided by the data provider you are connected to. For the chart discrepancy issue, can you save this chart setup as a template and upload it to a post here so I may try to replicate this on my end? This may be a function of forex data being non centralized, but a chart with the same settings should be loading bars in the same manner unless there are other settings at play.

          Hi Ryan,
unfortunately, I can't reproduce it either, it happens from time to time on first load
I suspect a combination of the possible difference between cached data in PC vs. historical db data from HDS for FX markets
after reloading historical data (and probably invalidating cached data), then the chart looks ok
possible? I don't know the inner workings of NT

            Hello,

This is correct, when data is reloaded it is reloaded from your data provider's historical data server which may differ slightly from the data that was 'recorded' to your machine while receiving live data.
