Interactive Brokers with a Paper Account

I have been trying Interactive Brokers connection and mostly it works but I'm having problems with a paper trading account I set up with them. NinjaTrader will not connect. Any ideas?

Thank you for your note.

So that we may better assist please follow the steps below to manually send your log and trace files so I may investigate this matter further.

• Open the Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
• Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
• Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to an email to support [AT] ninjatrader [DOT] com
  • Please include 'ATTN Spencer' in the Subject line and a link to this forum post in the body of the email
• Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

It says there can be a problem if the timezone is different. I have my machine set to the EST time zone but live in MST. Could that be a problem? If so, how do I fix that?

This may be done by expanding the More Options menu on the Gateway log in screen.
