My prices periodically stop updating even with my data connection green

I use Kinetick for my data source, and occasionally my prices just stop updating while my data connection is green. If I refresh historical data, it will update the chart, but my prices are not updating until I do this.

This doesnt happen all the time, but happened this morning. This is extremely damaging. I have live strategies that are running and they are not running properly when this happens.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

One addition, if I disconnect and then reconnect, it starts updating fine again, but I have to realize this is happening to do that, and then reactivate like 100 strategies

Im using 8.1.1.2 but this had happened in prior versions as well

Yes, this happens to me too. When this occurs, I usually restart. This isn't specific to Kinetick - it happens to me using CQG as well. Usually, it is just one instrument that stops updating. It's been happening for years. I've never been able to zero in on any specific thing that causes it. It's almost as if the data handling thread gets "stuck" and whatever instruments it's responsible for stop working while all the others keep going. In some instances, I use a watchdog to notify me if things are no longer getting new ticks during trading hours. That probably should be built into the platform - especially if they can't find this and fix it but I'm sort of skeptical it will be fixed right away because it's been this way for literally years. It's a low-probability thing but it happens on some instrument out of 20 or so at least once every few weeks.

Id really love to hear from the Ninja guys as to what they think is happening here. Its very annoying. It takes me about 25 minutes to restart and re-enable all of my strategies. If its something I can manage somehow and stop this I would like to do something, it happens enough where its a problem

I don't think they know, or they would have fixed it already, unfortunately. It's been this way for years.
