Local time of market place's instrument in chart, not system time

Is there a way to display the local time of the market for the instrument on my chart and not the local time of my PC?

Let's assume that I trade multiple instruments from different marketplaces with different trading hours.

I would like to display the local time of their respective market on the chart for each of these traded instruments, instead of my system's time.

This is much more reliable no matter where I trade from, and I no longer have to worry about daylight saving time changes throughout the year.

    Thanks in advance.

    Sincerely.

    Hello,

You can adjust the time zone in the platform, however this will apply to all charts regardless of instrument so what you are describing wouldn't be possible. To change the time zone however go to Tools>Options>General and adjust the 'Time Zone' setting.

      Hello RyanS,

Thank you for your response, that's indeed what I happened to discover in the meantime while searching in NT.

I tried changing the timezone out of curiosity to test it, and there was a message stating that it wouldn't modify existing historical data (and market replay data as well, after verification).

After modifying the timezone, I tried loading some days in market replay data and historical data in playback connection, and I observed that as expected the data didn't align correctly with the hours on the chart.

However, when I tried switching back to the initial timezone, all the data I previously loaded in playback (and previous days of those days until a certain point (it's not very clear how many previous days were affected)) were no longer in the correct timezone (the initial timezone) but had taken the timezone I had tested.

I managed to resolve this problem by repeatedly deleting the market replay data and historical data of the affected days (deleting them once was not enough, as they were still present regardless) and loading a backup of that data that I had kept aside.

Therefore, I have one last question:

Since changing the timezone can lead to data corruption of markert replay and historical data, does changing one's geographical location (for example while traveling) automatically modify the timezone ? (If that's the case, I should remain vigilant)

      Thanks in advance.

        Hello,

The platform should not change automatically as your PC time zone changes.
