    TDAmeritrade account not showing up after TDA connection

    Hello,

    I am able to successfully connect (green light) to my TDAmeritrade account. However, I cannot see my TDA account listed on the account drop-down menu for any of my charts as an available account. Please help, thanks!

    Using NT v8.1.1.7 64 bit on Win11

      Does that mean you are now getting chart data and your account shows up on the accounts tab on the control center? Mine is still not showing up.

        MrPisky If this is still happening, then try to right-click on your account tab in the control center and choose "Duplicate in a new window"... See if it shows up then....

          Hello,

          I suspect you are logging in using a username that does not have a multi broker enablement. If you have already purchased this, ensure you are logging in with the username that this add on is assigned to. If you have yet to purchase a multi broker add on you can do so with the steps in the help article below:

            I have a lifetime single broker license and upgraded to NTv8.1.1.7. It was my understanding these licenses were grandfathered for multi-broker trading, which is what the article you linked indicates. What do I need to do to resolve this? I am getting trade date from the TDA feed, but can't see my account in NT8.

              I think I solved the issue. Information I received from one of the Ninjatrader staff said that if I setup an online NT account and upgraded to NT v8.1 then my license would migrate to the new platform when the new version installed. Apparently that didn't happen for whatever reason. But I went through the license import process within my account in the web browser and then restarted NT. I can now see my TDA account balance as expected.

                The link you provided under FAQ indicates:

                "I have an existing Single-Broker or Multi-Broker Lifetime License with NinjaTrader, do I need to subscribe to this Add-on?​ No, all customers that have purchased a Lifetime License Key (prior to March 4, 2023) have the Multiple Brokers Add-on activated at no additional cost.​"

                I have a desktop lifetime single broker License purchansed many years ago. I do not see that my license is activated as Multiple Brokers license. Do you need to provide me with a new License Key or activation is automatic? I am using NT8.0.27.1 version and do not have a NinjaTrader broker account.

                  How to get TDA actual account values and equities market data?
                  My TDA account has both, of course.
                  I have NT 8.1.1.1.7 Lifetime Live Trading. This includes Multi-broker, correct?
                  I am also NT Brokerage client, and this shows in the Control Center Accounts.
                  Live TDA account value does not show in Control Center Accounts, only SIM TDA account.
                  Please instruct how to get Actual account data and execution capability from TDA.

                    Hello,

                    aligator if still running 8.0.27, you will still be using your license key as normal. Once you update to the new NinjaTrader Desktop your license key will be imported and your newly created user account will maintain your LK enablements. Please note however if using CQG you need to update to either 8.0.28 or the new NT desktop to continue to connect to CQG, as this connection will no longer work on versions prior: https://ninjatrader.com/support/requ...desktop-users/

                    csrote Can you write into our support team with the issue you are seeing as well as the username you are using to launch Ninjatrader so we may verify it has a Multi Broker enablement attached to it?
