Steps I can take to reproduce. NAS100 range chart. 12 range
Add stock Volume indicator to chart
Add stock VROC indicator to chart
Using all indie defaults
You get these plots
The VROC plot, as you see, has these massive spikes that seem to bear no relation to the volume traded and reported by the Volume indicator. Any idea why this is so? All are completely stock, supplied by standard NT8 install, and unmodified system indicators. VROC seems broken, to me, in this instance.
Interestingly, if you add the ROC indicator, with an input of volume, it looks much, much better.
The documentation states " Description
Volume Rate of Change is identical to Price Rate Of Change (ROC) indicator except that it uses volume instead of price.
"
But, this appears in my case to not be so.
