ohlc bars change to candlestick when changing bar time

Hi,
How can I keep my bars from changing when I switch to different time lengths or to tick bars? I tried setting my chart to default but it doesn't help

Thank you for your post.

To lock the selected Chart Style for the time frames you are using, please right click in the Chart and select 'Data Series'. In the Data Series window, under Properties, select Type (Period Type — Minute, Tick, etc.), then select the desired Chart Style, and save parameters as default.

To save Data Series parameters as default for a particular Period Type:
1. Set the Data Series parameters to desired values
2. Left mouse click on the preset text located in the bottom right of the properties dialog. Selecting the option save will save these settings as the default used every time you select that period type for a Data Series.
