errors in @SMA.cs must be solved

    Now I see that in this new NinjaTrader8, I must set again my connection , and in the tab of connections I canīt configure that !!
    When I open NT8, appear a window with 2 possible options. See attached image.
    If I choose Sim trading , NT8 starts and in the connetions tab there is no way to connect my Continuum Data feed.
    If Restart and choose Live trading the only option is to fund my account as if i was new in NinjaTrader8.
    So , there is no way to start NT8 and set my Continuum conection to have live data feed !!

    How can I configure my Live data connection in this new NT8???

      Thanks for your note.

      That is correct, the clean environment will not contain your third-party addons since it is a clean environment.

      Before we move your third-party indicators over, we need to ensure that the compile error you mentioned is not still occurring.

      Please open a New > NinjaScript Editor window, run a compile, and let me know if the error is no longer appearing and the Editor successfully compiles.

      If you are able to successfully compile in the NinjaScript Editor window on the clean environment, open two file explorer windows and open the new one in one and the old one in another.
      • Drag the following items from the old folder to the new one (folders should automatically merge)
        • Config.xml and UI.xml
        • Workspaces folder (if it asks to overwrite the _Workspaces.xml file, say yes)
        • Templates folder (if it asks to overwrite anything, say no)
        • db folder (you can overwrite any files in here)
      • Then, import each of your third-party AddOns (indicators and strategies) by going to Tools > Import > NinjaScript AddOn
      • Once complete, restart NinjaTrader. You may get a few initial errors. Open a NinjaScript Editor and run a compile, then, if no additional errors are received, restart NinjaTrader and retest to make sure no errors appear.
      ​Note to connect to your data feed connection, enable the Multi-provider option in the Tools > Options > General tab. Once the Multi-provider option is enabled, you could configure connections and connect to your data feed.

        I opened NT8 with the only option SIMULATED TRADING, ( because with the second option I am obligated to fund my live account and NT8 doesnīt starts !!!),
        I opened NinjaScript Editor and compiled a sample Crossover strategy and it has been successfull, no error messages.
        And compiled an indicator standard of NT8 and again successfull.

        But now the problem is how to connect my Live data connection .
        How do I do ?

          Thanks for your note.

          Have you moved the folders mentioned in my previous post from the NinjaTrader 8OLD folder to the new NinjaTrader 8 folder?

          As stated in my previous post, you must enable the Multi-provider option to configure and connect to your data feed connection in NinjaTrader 8.1.

          "​Note to connect to your data feed connection, enable the Multi-provider option in the Tools > Options > General tab. Once the Multi-provider option is enabled, you could configure connections and connect to your data feed.

            I didn't do the folder changes,
            I followed your instructions about connection with Live Data,
            my username or pasword failed.
            How can I recover them??

              I moved the files from OLD new NT8, and following your instructions, restarted NT8, and compiled succesfully.
              Close NT8 , restart and compile again without errors.

              Now, waiting how to recover username or pasword of my Continuum data feed,
              and finally need to add my old NinjaScript files ( indicators, strategies) from NinjaTrader8 OLD to NinjaTrader8, and ADD-Ons .

              How to add my old NinjaScript indicators and strategies to my new NinjaTrader8 ??

                Now I am adding my NinjaScripts indicators and strategies into the new NT8, and compiling successfully.
                The same with the ADD-ONs.
                But still problems with the NT Continuum password for the Data conexion.
                My username for the connection ( js4938.pcap) is correct, and when I change my password and do it successfully, login my new password give an error message that it failed !!!!

                  And I canīt access to my Order Flow+ tools with this new NT8!!!
                  If you go to my account settings, I have Order Flow+ ACTIVATED.
                  And in my account settings I changed successfully my NT Continuum connection Password, but it failed when I Log on NT8 connections tab settings.
                  How do I solve this 2 last problems ???

                    To add you indicators and strategies to NinjaTrader 8, you could import them by going to Tools > Import > NinjaScript AddOn.

                      But I have a user account, I am not new in NT8,
                      inside my user account I have an username and reset my pasword sucessfully, but when I log on the Continuum connectioin it fails !!
