    Installation and choose of documents folder

    Hi,
    I have unistalled nt8 and now i want to reinstall the platftorm. Are there any ways to choose the data folder. Now NT8 put all the files in c:user/davide/onedrive/documents. Can i put all the files into antother path? How?

    Hello Davide999,

    The platform by default uses the documents folder for storing data. The path you listed is fine to use however you want to make sure onedrive is not running while using NinjaTrader. If you use onedrive and don't want NinjaTrader data included in the sync you can use onedrive to exclude that folder or the documents directory. Alternatively you can also remove the documents from onedrive and re map the documents folder to another location using windows, the normal location would be c:user/davide/documents but you can map that to any location you wanted.

      Hi, i need urgent help:
      i installed the nt 8.1.1.7 version and I re-import all my folder (docuemnts folder of 8.1.1.6 and sounds,workspaces, ecc (folders of installation)). The program tell me:

        Can you provide more detail about what steps you used? The error is showing that your installation is corrupt and missing data. By installing the update you should not have had to re import anything or do any changes on the file system.

        Just to help clairify NinjTrader has two install locations. The Documents folder is where your NinjaScript data and other items like tempaltes and database goes. The program files directory contains the main program along with some other core items that are used for defaults. The file listed should exist at the location it mention, if it does not you need to uninstall the platform and then re install it.

          I solved follow the:
          Hi guy, Im randomly running into this issue on NT8. it is saying it cant find Ninjatrader.vendor.cs file but its in that folder. i have been trying everything but am unable to resolve it. Please see attached.


          But, all is OK, only i have no datas:

            Hello Davide999,

            Are you seeing any errors in the control center log tab? If so what errors are you seeing?

            As a side note I had to remove your second post. For security please never post your log or trace files on the forums. If you need a support member to view a part of the log copy and paste that part of the log into your post and make sure it contains no personal information about your account such as account numbers. You otherwise need to use email support if you want to provide a whole log or trace file for a question.
