Upgraded NT8 and it now wants Market data subscription

I upgraded NT 8 to latest since I got the message asking to upgrade and it asked me setup NT login which I setup. Now it wants me to subscribe to Market data. I already have market data from CQG/AMP, but can't connect unless I get past this new subscription requirement.

Help.

Have you turned on multi provider mode in Tools -> Options and then set up your connection to CQG/AMP in the Connections list?

Thank you for writing in.

It sounds like you may have updated to NinjaTrader NT 8.1.1.6. If anybody else stumbles upon this post, please note that you do not have to update to 8.1.X.X if you are on NT 8.0.X.X

As long as you update to NT 8.0.28 before the posted date you will still be able to connect to Continuum/CQG.


Just as QuantKey_Bruce mentioned, you can ignore all this and turn on "Multi Provider Mode". You'll be able to set up your CQG/AMP connection from the Connections list.

The alternative is to "downgrade" to NT 8.0.28, which you can do at any point in time.
