Strategy Turns from Green to White in Strategies Tab

Hello Ninjatrader staff,

I have a several strategies loaded on a chart. I go to the Strategies Tab and enable them. Then, I go to the chart on which the strategies are loaded, and press CTRL+S (Strategies) to bring up the Strategies Properties window. This causes the name of some strategies in the Strategy Tab to turn from green to white. Then, I close Ninjatrader 8, press "Yes" to save my Workspace, and open Ninjatrader 8 again. I now have all the original strategies in my Strategies Tab, plus a few duplicates of the strategies that previously turned white.

Can you reproduce this on your end? I am using the old NT8, not the new one.

Thanks for your post.

I am not able to reproduce this behavior on my end using the most recent release of NinjaTrader (8.1.1.6).

When a strategy name is not green in the Strategies tab of the Control Center it typically means it is disabled.

I understand you are using an old version of NinjaTrader 8.

Please update NinjaTrader to the most recent release and retest with the SampleMACrossOver strategy to see if the behavior persists.

Updates to NinjaTrader will contain the latest security updates and bug fixes, as well as occasional new features and instruments.

To update NinjaTrader

• Shutdown all programs including NinjaTrader *important
• Download NinjaTrader from the link below
  • Click here to download NinjaTrader
• Double click the downloaded file to execute it
• Follow the on screen instructions
• Restart NinjaTrader
