    Login doesn't work for new users

    Just installed v8.1.1.6 per requirement for CQG users. Login fails. Login and password are correct. Tried the "forgot" password so now I think I have a new password. Neither works.

    Really?

    ... and now I have to wait 60 seconds to try again?

    Are you using your NinjaTrader account username and password (not your forum username and password, and not your CQG username and password)?

      Tried it again... I'm getting this:

      This is the very same login I used to log into your site. But it's the very same login I use to log into the website and that seems to work. When I try to create a different account, which is what I did when this very site asked me to, or login, it tells me the login already exists.

        I'm tried using the forum username. I'm not stupid enough to not realize Ninjatrader isn't my broker so no, I'm not trying to use that. I don't use Ninja data. But when I try to create a new account, which is not an option on this popup btw, it tells me a login by that name already exists.

        I did try to create a new one and after confirming it was successful. But that user name and password doesn't work in the NT popup.

          It's definitely not your forum username, unless you coincidentally made that your account name. It would often be different - the username you used to create the account at account.ninjatrader.com. If you know what your username is, I would suggest trying again to reset your password then log in with that new one.

            I got it... You did your own login thing with the design and that, together with a slow server turned out to be not what I expected. Had to create a brand new account and wait a little bit. Didn't expect any of that.

              Well, NinjaTrader introduced a whole new login scheme as of March. It was new to all of us and a great many traders have been confused. It took me a bit to get used to it too and I asked lots of questions at the time until I felt like I understood the new arrangement.
