New version missing License Key and Connection configure options

I just downloaded and installed Ninja Trader in a new computer, I'm trying to configure my multi broker License Key and IqFeed connection but the New version is missing License Key and Connection configure options. See image below.
There must be a bug in the latest version. Please advise. Thanks.

You need to enable ‘Multi-Provider’ which will then give you the ability to add further Connections.

Simply put, the 8.1 version rollout has been a fiasco of gargantuan proportions and what you’re coming up against is a combination of License Key migration to ‘User-account’ identity (see ‘Dashboard’ & licence key importation) confusion, ‘Default’ platform implementation whereby your only Provider option (& Connection) is Ninja Brokerage, and a dismal lack of pro-active pre-launch communication.

So what you need to do (as far as I understand it) is to create an account via Dashboard, import your multi-broker Licence Key via Dashboard, download latest version and that in itself may, or may not, enable Multi-provider automatically, which the gives you your Connection options. If it doesn’t automatically enable Multi-provider, find/choose it from Menus.

There are also some Help Guides on the topic
    Hope this Helps

      Hello designer01,

      Thanks for your post.

On NinjaTrader 8.1 you could import your license key using the NinjaTrader Account Dashboard.

See this NinjaTrader article about how to migrate your license key into the latest version of NinjaTrader Desktop: https://support.ninjatrader.com/s/ar...language=en_US

To have access to the Connection configuration options, go to Tools > Options and enable the 'Multi-provider' option in the General tab.

See this help guide page for more information about the Multi-provider option: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...multi-provider

And, see this NinjaTrader article: https://support.ninjatrader.com/s/ar...r-Mode-Enabled

For further inquiries, please write in to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and one of our Support technicians will be happy to assist you.

Thank you. I downloaded and installed previous version 8.0.28.0 so I put my Connections and Licenses as usual. Next I will upgrade to latest version which should transfer automatically all Connections and Licenses correct?

No. You'll need to go to the account page account.ninjatrader.com and import your license. And you'll need to go to Tools -> Options and check multi provider then restart and set up your connections again.

One might think your assumptions should have been correct, and you could easily understand how anyone might think that, but that is not the way it works.

The product design assumption is that everyone or almost everyone going forward will want it to work the new way (no license keys, no local sim, only NT brokerage support, sign in every single time you click the icon) - the way nobody who was using NinjaTrader before March has ever used it. So, they have made it a bunch of extra steps to get it to work the old ways. It seems possible that in some future version after enough time has past the old way (multi provider etc.) could eventually be deprecated.

            Hello designer01,

            Thanks for your note.

When upgrading to NinjaTrader 8.1, you will need to log into the NinjaTrader Account Dashboard at account[dot]ninjatrader[dot]com and import your license key as QuantKey_Bruce stated.

See this NinjaTrader article for more information about importing your license key: https://support.ninjatrader.com/s/ar...language=en_US

After importing your license key in the NinjaTrader Account Dashboard, you should enable the 'Multi-provider' option in the Tools > Options > General tab.

See the help guide pages below for more information about 'Multi-provider' mode.
