After upgrading to 8.1.1.6 CQG is not available for connection

After upgrading to 8.1.1.6 the CQG connection option disappeared.

When I go to 'Connections', 'configure', I don't see CQG listed anymore and therefore I can not have a data feed for NT.

Can you let me know how to fix this problem. I upgraded exactly because I got a pop-up to upgrade to continue to have CQG support.

    Thanks!

PS: btw, I do have 'Multi-provider' checked under 'Tools', 'Options'.

      Hello ds1111,

Please make sure you have multi provider mode enabled, you can find that in the Tools -> Options -> General menu.

I have that 'enabled'. Which version are you talking about?

I actually disabled, and started on Simulation mode and I see the prices being displayed correctly. Is this some NT provided data? I can use this for my testing.

        Thanks!

          Hello ds1111,

Any version in the 8.1.x.x series needs multi provider mode enabled to see other connections. You can only configure connections that are not NinjaTrader brokerage by using that mode. The Simulation feed a a simulated account associated with your NinjaTrader login. If you have NinjaTrader brokerage you can select Live trading when logging in to view your live account.

To use any other type of account you need to enable multi provider mode and then configure the connection using the connections menu. When you select the connections menu and add a new connection you should see the available providers listed. If you are not seeing any connections in that menu I would suggest using Help -> Email support so we can make sure your account is configured correctly.
