No desktop icon after upgading NT

I successfully upgraded today. However there is no desktop icon. How do I create one?

You can create a new icon by opening the folder: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\NinjaTrader
Then right click the NinjaTrader icon and click Send to desktop.

what exact steps do i take to get to that folder

Hello iceman2018,,

You would need to use the windows file explorer to open that folder, you can paste that address in the address bar if you didn't want to manually navigate through the folders.
