upgrading NT

When I do the mandatory upgrade this month, what are the exact steps I will have to take
and what information will I need such as passwords, usernames etc? Thanks

If you are running NinjaTrader version 8.0.27.1 or older or versions 8.1.000.1 to 8.1.000.5, you will need to upgrade to version 8.0.28.0 or 8.1.1.6. To get the latest installer, you need to create an account on the NinjaTrader Website if you have not done so already:

After you log in, click "Download" at the bottom left of the dashboard to get to the downloads.

I have had a lifetime membership with NT for a few years. However I do not remember if I set up an account. How do I find out if I have an account and what my username and password are if I do have one?

Hi, You will need to register an account here:

To register, you will use either your Google/Apple Single Sign On, or create a new account username and password that you set up during the account registration. After you get into your dashboard, you can go to the settings menu in the top left>Plans>then import your license key to get the functionality that you have paid for already. I now have an account. After I downloaded the new version of NT from the link on the pop up message I get when I start up NT, when I was using the wizzard I got a message that there was an error and that I should try again. I tried again with the same result. I need exact step by step directions
as what do no next.

Hi, Im not sure what the error you are getting is, but if you are unable to run the installer, please first uninstall NinjaTrader by using this tool from Microsoft that will help to uninstall it:

After NinjaTrader is uninstalled, run the installer again.
