Cant Open Platform After Logging In

I get to the login prompt, it accepts my credentials and then I get this popup "unable to connect to DB: unable to open database file". Have tried rebooting, uninstalling and reinstalling latest version (8.1.1.6), no help. Running Windows 11 v 21H2. It was working fine just last week no issues, no dice today. Not sure what else to try.

This looks like an error with the database, so to test, we'd want you to try renaming the database to generate a new one to see if that resolves the error:

1. Shutdown NinjaTrader and Go to the Start Menu
2. Select My Documents--> NinjaTrader 8--> db--> "NinjaTrader.sqlite" file (may only say 'NinjaTrader' depending on your Windows File Explorer settings)
3. Right click on NinjaTrader.sdf and select "Rename" *Name it "OLDNinjaTrader.sqlite"
4. Then restart the software and NinjaTrader will create a fresh database file to use

If that does not help please email support[at]ninjatrader.com and attach your current log and trace files from the folders:
Documents\NinjaTrader 8\log
Documents\NinjaTrader 8\trace

OK so it seemed to be related to OneDrive shenanigans trying to sync that .sqlite file. It wouldn't let me rename the file so I deleted it and restarted NT8 and now its working. Appreciate the help Jesse!

Thanks for confirming. Just as a side note here, please ensure to keep onedrive closed while using NinjaTrader. You can use onedrive to sync files but it cannot do that while the platform is running as it may corrupt files. You can also disable onedrive from syncing the documents folder to avoid that from happening.
