    How, please? Step by step.

    I have looked over every inch I can see of the new 'portal', and don't see any such feature.

      Can you confirm that my key will still work on the older versions of NT, once I do this? (not ready to move yet)

          So, having attempted to do this, it imported, but shows me as NOT having the multi-broker option and offering for me to buy it.

          On my old NT8, I have this and these

          So it appears to be asking me to buy something I already have (and use) on the older version​

            Hello,

            It's possible the key was imported onto a different user. I would recommend reaching out to our support team so they can ensure your Multi-Broker enablement is enabled on the correct user you plan to use.

              How can that be! I am being FORCED to sign up because you are not maintaining the old version and I am being FORCED to upgrade, which I do not want to do. I signed up for the account in order to prepare, today. I only have 1 account. I imported my key into it (and I have other keys actually - No idea how to handle that also).

              I will email my key to support along with a pointer to this thread.

              I know it will fall on deaf ears, but this whole experience with the changes in the new version, the bugs, and now the forced upgrade leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.

                Hello,

                If you want to continue to use your current installation you can update to 8.0.28 with no changes to the UI or login process. This will still reference your license keys and configured connections as they are currently setup.

                    I was getting popups on .27 telling me it would stop working in July and needed to update to the latest version. It does seem though that this show-stopping fix was applied in .28, so, saved by a hair! Now, if only I could download it....

                    As a side note - I am also told by support that you are required to be running the latest 8.1 branch in order to submit support requests for bug fixes etc. They will not review them unless on the latest branch.

                      I would prefer to do that, but I started getting popups in the current app telling me I needed to upgrade to the latest version by July or else the data feeds would stop working. The certificate changes that the current version I am running warns me about were present in .28? If so, that is a great relief!

                        OK, I see from the release notes for .28 that this is the case. The certificate was updated in this release. Thank goodness for that!

                          The certificate change exists in 8.0.28.0. The only reason that we require an update for users on 8.0.27.1 or below is because of the certificate change. If you haven't already, you can download 8.0.28.0 from the 'Prior releases' section of the Account Dashboard. There is a direct download also available on the page at the link below;

                            Technically, you could stay on a pre-8.0.28.0 release.

                            You just have to update the security certificates manually.
