No Playback Control Window Fix

If you ever lose your Playback window on Ninjatrader 8. You will not see the window on the toolbar. You have to ATL + TAB to see it in the lineup. You can not hold shift + rt click on the toolbar to cascade it. You can not get it by going to task manager, click on the window bringing it to front. It took me 45 min to figure this out. I could not find the answer on the web. I had to revert into breaking the program down. Go to \Documents\NinjaTrader 8. You will see a UI.xml file. Right click on it and open in notepad. Find the
<PlaybackControl>
<Location>1103.33333333333;1138</Location>
Change the Location that is your X, Y coordinates on your windows desktop.
Then save the file. Make sure ninjatrader is shutdown when you modify the file.

That's true. You also could Alt-Tab until you have selected the Playback Controller in the list of running tasks, and once you've picked it, you can hold down Windows and press left-arrow or right-arrow until you move it onto a monitor where you can see it, then you can drag it from there.

Try it now, so you can see how it works (you can drag the Playback Controller down until it's way at the bottom of the screen where you can barely see it), then next time you have a window that's "lost" you'll be able to easily and quickly recover it.
