I seem to have screwed something up when experimenting with custom script development on NinjaTrader 8. I only remember using the NinjaScript editor and then at some point also clicking on the visual studio button as well.
Now I can't do anything including compiling scripts and it wont even let me import an indicator because it says I have scripts with errors.
When I try to just compile one of the included indicators I get error CS0579. I have attached a screenshot for your reference.
I deleted all of my faulty custom scripts but it still thinks that I have scripts with errors and I can't get past this wall.
I also tried updating to the latest version of NinjaTrader but I still have the same problem. It thinks that I have custom scripts with errors that won't compile. How can I locate these files, if they even still exist, and then delete them manually?
If you notice, in the attached screen shot of some error messages, under the NinjaScript File column it seems to indicate \NETFramework Version 4.8 on one line and version 4/6/1 on the second line. Perhaps there are two versions floating around on my computer due to my clicking the Visual Studio button that are now simultaneously linked to NinjaTrader and causing this compiler confusion.
I just don't know how to fix this problem.
Thank you very much for your advice.
Regards
Kerry
