connect two Ninjatrader accounts to my existing market data subscription
I just opened up another Ninjatrader brokerage account. So I have two Ninjatrader accounts, not subaccounts. I already have a market data subscription from Ninjatrader. How can I connect these two Ninjatrader accounts to my existing market data subscription? Please advise as soon as possible. ThanksTags: None

Hello,
There is no way to combine the data subscription, however you can effectively accomplish this by making sure you connect to the account with market data first, then connecting the other account. By default NinjaTrader will pull data from the first connection initiated, so this will allow you to pull data from that connection, while having both accounts connected.

So by doing that, is it possible to trade the account without data subscription normally?Originally posted by NinjaTrader_RyanS View PostHello,

Yes, use the regular NinjaTrader connection with the one that has the market data subscription, and use NinjaTrader Continuum connection type for the one that doesn't because Continuum connection type doesn't block you from placing trades if the account isn't subscribed to market data.Originally posted by TraderJA View Post

Thank you. I have read that you need to use a different user/pwd pair to change the connection from Ninjatrader to Ninjatrader Continuum. Is that right? How would I get that new user/pwd? What are the differences between a NT and a NT Continuum connection, apart from what you have said?Originally posted by backtester831 View Post

It's on the my account page. Log into the NT website, and go to settings and profile. Continuum username should be displayed there and below it is a button to set the password for it.Originally posted by TraderJA View Post

If you have not setup a NinjaTrader Continuum connection on this account in the past, you will need to write into our support team to assist with setting this up on your account. Both connections use CQG as the underlying connection technology, and data will all stream from the first connection you connect to. OCO functionality would be local for the NinjaTrader connection and server side for the NinjaTrader Continuum connection.
