    Volume Profile Initial balance settings.

The documentation for the Volume Profile Initial balance settings seems pretty vague.
I am in the UK on BST timezone, and I want to configure the VP to start at the Pre Open (13:30 BST) and the IB to be from 14:30 to 15:30 BST.

For one thing the Volume profile doesn't start at the correct time - it starts on the next candle which could be 1,5,10,15,60 minutes off
And next the documentation says "The initial balance range needs to have the property 'Initial balance time (in minutes)' set to a non-zero value. Once 'Initial balance time' is defined the there are 3 lines which will be enabled" - What value goes in the Initial balance time?

Is it 870 for 14:30 * 60 minutes, or 60 form the start of the volume profile (at 13:30? any other suggestions because I cant get a sensible range configured.
    Sensible documentation would help.

    Hello -Sarocen-,

    Thanks for your post.

The 'Initial balance' feature allows you to enable plots to show you what the current range, POC, and Value Area are a set number of minutes from the beginning of the trading hours session.

"the VP to start at the Pre Open (13:30 BST) and the IB to be from 14:30 to 15:30 BST."

This would not be possible to do. The 'Initial balance' would start from when the session starts and will plot after a set number of minutes pass. If you set the 'Initial balance time (in minutes)' setting to 60, the initial balance plots (Initial balance Range, Initial POC, and Initial balance Value area) will plot on the chart 60 minutes after the beginning of the trading hours session.

" it starts on the next candle"

You could set the Order Flow Volume Profile 'Calculate' setting to 'On Price Change' or 'On Each Tick' to have the indicator process values on the current bar. When Calculate is set to 'On Bar Close', the indicator will only process values at the close of each bar.

Setting Calculate to 'On Price Change' means the indicator will process for each change in price'. Setting Calculate to 'On Each Tick' means the indicator will process for each incoming tick.
