Question on Server Side ATMs on 8.1.1.5 and 8.1.1.6

    Hello
I have been testing the server side ATMs and have found a possible anomaly when using chart trader. I have successfully set up a server side ATM with stop loss and profit target values as well as a move to break even at a particular level of profit.
I notice that when using limit entry orders or entering at the bid or ask the system appears to work as expected. If I attempt to use a stop limit entry order with a negative offfset (-1 tick) in this instance, no orders are placed. If I change the offset to zero or a positive value the orders are placed as expected. Is this a deliberate ''feature'' as it different behaviour to using local ATMs saved on one's PC?

Sounds unexpected, but one possible consideration is you cannot place a stop limir or stop market order across the market, and by using a -1 tick offset, you may be immediately across the market causing the entry order to be rejected... either actually rejected ending the ATM or potentially rejected such that the platform just isn't placing it because it knows it will be rejected... I would assume if you switched this from stop limit entry to limit entry it would immediately go in. Does it?

      Hello,

Currently stop limit orders are not supported when using server side ATM strategies for stop orders that are a part of the strategy, however you should be able to utilize them for entry orders without issue. The issue seems isolated to using a negative offset, so I will report this to our development team for confirmation on whether or not this should be possible.

Server side limit entries work as expected. Server side stop limit entries with a negative offset simply are not accepted even if you place the order 10 points away from the current market price. Local PC based ATMs don't have the same problem.

To follow up, our product team has deemed simulated orders such as MIT and simulated stop orders to be unsupported when using sever side ATM strategies, as these order types are currently simulated on the local machine rather than our servers. We will look into expanding this functionality in the future.

It would be preferable if the product team were to ensure this behaviour is documented in Help when the new Feature is released, rather than allowing people to waste their time blindly trying to reverse engineering what is going on
