Applying Trading Hours/Session template has no effect

HI,

I want my daily candles to coincide with the cash market: RTH. But when I choose a daily chart of an NQ contract and apply US Equities RTH there is no change - the open and close of every candle still corresponds to ETH hours. What am I missing?

What time interval chart are you loading? Keep in mind daily and weekly charts are unaffected by trading hours as this OHLC values are provided directly from the data provider.

Hello,

A workaround is to use either 1440m bars or 10080m bars to simulate daily and weekly bars (respectively) that will abide by the trading hours template you have applied.

A key understanding is that daily bars use "daily" data from your provider and are completely immune to the intraday trading times specified in Trading Hours because that's for intraday data.
