NT chart freeze

Hi

The past couple of days NT8 freezes and I have to do a control-alt-del to reset the computer and restart the program. This has been happening several times a session. I just upgraded to the latest NT8 software.

Any help you suggest would be appreciated.

Hello rexsole,

The best recommendations here would be to check the log to see if anything is being reported, isolate the problem by reducing the workspace and custom items used to see if a common set of items causes an issue. Find a way to repeat this happening so we can get a better idea of how to proceed to a solution. Finding a way to reproduce the problem would be important for testing if a third party item is the cause.

I tried to open the link that you provided above but it didn't work. I was running two market analyzers. I removed them and then added functions to the charts one by one and was able to get it working, so far, without freezing. Kind of defeats the purpose though if I can't have the market analyzers working- I use them to save on screen space. If you can send me a link for the utilization monitor that works I would like to try that.

I tried the link and it is working, you need to click it, if you copied it to the browser that wont work.

You can get to that help guide section manually by going to NinjaScript -> Editor -> Output and then expand the utilization monitor section.

Almost all markets are closed from Friday 17:00 CT to Sunday 17:00 CT consistently every week (48 hours). Use Market Replay to replay an earlier day's market action if you are practicing.
