Restore Saved Strategy Template after NT Repair

Hello,

i had to repair my NT8. Before that i renamed my old NT8 folder. Is it somehow possible to get the strategy template from the old folder to the new one?

Sure - copy them from Documents -> MyOldNinjaTrader8Folder -> templates to Documents -> NinjaTrader 8 -> templates.

As Bruce advised, you should be able to copy the template file(s) over from the renamed folder to the new one. Here are some more comprehensive steps:

• Shut down NinjaTrader
• Navigate to your Documents\renamedNinjaTrader8Old folder
  • In the renamed folder, go to templates\Strategy and copy the desired templates
• Now, navigate to the new Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates\Strategy folder
  • Paste the copied templates here
• Launch NinjaTrader and test to see if your strategy templates appear
