    NT 8.1.1.5 - trade performance report

    Is there a work around to correct the trade performance report in NT for Tradovate trades that anyone knows of, since currently NT is tripling the trades?

    Hello Tekie,

    Can you provide more detail about the problem you are seeing and also the steps you are using when you see the problem? We would want to collect information if something is not working right so we can give that to development for review. I am not aware of any workarounds for trades being multiplied in the reports.

      Jesse, thank you for the reply, I had already contacted Platform support on 5/3 and Case: # is 03866367. But to answer your question, when I run the Trade performance on a Tradovate account the result is a triple of the actual trades performed and that is happening only on a Tradovate account

        Hello Tekie,

        In this case because you have an existing case open I would suggest to re-reply to the last email you had received on that to ask for a bug report ID. That you can track the issue in the change log.

        I reviewed that case but was unable to locate a bug report id, either it has not been submitted yet or the title they submitted it as did not match the title I was searching for. By replying to that case that should help to move the issue along faster, they can either provide a bug report id or they will need to further review the case with you and get that submitted.

          This is disappointing, I contacted Platform on this issue first on 4/22 and was told that "This issue has been reported to our Development Team and they are currently looking into this further. It should be resolved with a new platform release" and contacted back again on 5/3 because it was not resolved with the release of NT 8.1.1.5, in an case I have replied to the e-mail as you suggested.

            Hi Tekie,
            The other option is: Unless you are wedded to 8.1.1.x e.g. It has some important functions your trading business needs you can always roll back to 8.0.28.0 where everything works to support your business

            Then upgrade at your leisure when 8.1.1.x releases a stable version, timeline uncertain which is cool Devs need time to do their stuff. It just depends on what you and your business needs

            I had the performance Reporting working with 8.1.1.3 but it was lost on subsequent releases but needed to roll back to get full functionality. the business risk for me was if one function that I depend on mysteriously fails else ...

              I had similar issues with the Trade Performance report after updating to NT 8.1.1.5. What helped me was clearing the database and re-importing only essential data. Also, I found it useful to track performance externally for backup; I’m using FungiApe https://fungiape.com, which offers great analytics tools that complement NinjaTrader reports. After syncing my trades there, it became easier to spot discrepancies and better organize my trading stats. You might want to give that a try alongside troubleshooting the native report.​
