I have been sim trading during today's US Futures session on ES. I have been trialling the server side order setup when you have the multi provider mode turned off. I placed a number of orders which simply were not processsed or acknowledged until 20 or 30 seconds after they were placed. I also was unable to cancel a number of orders. The system was basically unusable and much worse than yesterday's session where NinjaTrader sent a message that delays were being experienced.
Since it was unusable I changed my setting within NT8 to re-enable the multi provider mode and shut down NT8 to restart with the new setting (orders now reside on my machine and stop loss & profit target orders are sent to NinjaTrader Brokerage once the initial order has filled)
Unfortunately my copy of NT8 would then no longer start and I am now getting the message that my log in name or password is incorrect even though I directly copied that information from a password manager. I can however log into my brokerage account using the same user/password combination so something is clearly wrong.
Can I please have an update on the status of server side stop loss & profit target orders and how close they might be to a commercial standard.?
Can I also have an explanation as to why after changing back to multi provider mode my copy of NT8 will not start?
I am running 8.1.1.5 and the issues occurred around 9.00am US Central time on the 9th May.
Update. After 40 minutes my copy of NT8 will now load and start properly with the same user name and password that was previously rejected!
