EMA's not plotting accurately

The two EMA's on the attached chart are crossing somewhere above 13080, but the data box shows them at 12922.98 and 12957.29 respectively. What gives?

Using version 8.0.27.1 64-bit.

They're not both on right scale? Or you don't have the cursor/crosshair on that spot when you took the screenshot?

They are both on right scale. The data box froze and when I restarted NT, it is reading correctly.

I am happy to hear you were able to resolve the behavior you reported.

Note to make sure to hover the mouse cursor over the bar where the crossover occurred to see the EMA values in the Data Box on that specific bar.

It could be related to the smoothing of the EMA curve and you are just visually misinterpreting where those values calculated on the bar are being represented.

Go into the indicator settings and change the EMA plot settings Plot Style from line to square. Then you will only see the actual calculation of the EMA value for each bar without smoothing.
