NT8 on Azure - whether to run in a VM or a Container Instance?

Hi,

Has anyone migrated their NT8 to Azure who can share the experience?

I'm embarking on this route, and am at the stage of choosing whether to run in a VM or a Container Instance, and would appreciate some advice on this?

Thanks for your post.

Many users do consider using a Virtual Private Server to run NinjaTrader on to achieve lower latency and to have a more reliable connection than running NinjaTrader from their home PC. Many users consider this for running automated trading strategies as well.

I used Azure in the past, but migrated away from it because it caused the NT8 machine ID to change frequently, making it impossible to use my Ninza indicators I paid for because would need to constantly email the vendor the new machine ID.

Ended up switching to vps from ninjamobiletrader and much happier because haven't had the machine ID change on me since, and also their 16gb RAM VM is about half price compared to what I was paying at Azure.
