    Hello Bonavest,

    If you are having trouble with a custom item you would generally need to reach out to that developer/vendor if you find that it is causing a problem. Our support can assist with the base platform an making sure that works right. We would want to confirm that the platform its self works in playback and does not stop playing before doing anything else, if the platform by its self is not working in some way that's going to cause issues with everything else and we need to report that. When a third party item causes an issue we can easily highlight that is happening by testing without those items running.

    If apex let you know that you need to use 8.1.1.1 to be able to connect and use their products then you would have to downgrade to 8.0.2.8. 8.1.1.1 is no longer the previous version or available for download, the next backwards migration would be to the 8.0.28 version. .

        Hello backtester831,

        Our support always suggests using the latest version of the platform, if apex has found some problem with a current release and is making changes or waiting for a bug fix they may suggest using a specific older version of the platform. I am not aware of what reason apex support would say to use 8.1.1.1, I would need to get a bug report id or they would need to have supplied more specific details on a reason.

          When I first started having these problems after upgrading from 8.0.26.1 to 8.1.1.3 (the latest download from NT at the time) Tradovate's website in several locations in their FAQ and then from two support people via email recommended I use their linked download for 8.1.1.1 to use with Tradovate accounts.

          This fixed the Tradovate issue, but began having the chart freeze up issue. I didn't use 8.1.1.3 long enough to see if the problem was occurring in that version.

          As NT has mentioned in this thread, if the problem does not happen without outside scripts or custom bar types, then they are not able to assist end users. It falls back to the creator of the various scripts etc.
