    Another Kinetick outage?

    It's down for me. So is the website. Any word on when it's going to be back? Thanks in advance.

      Hello,

      We are currently not aware of an outage, and I can confirm our internal test account is able to connect and receive data. Are you experiencing an error logging in? If so, what does this error report?

        When I ty to log in through the desktop client, I get "My Kinetick: Unable to read server IP addresses: This is usually a temporary error during hostname resolution and means that the local server did not receive a response from an authoritative server (Logon failed)" Also, kinetick.com is down for me as well.

          Connection suddenly stopped about an hour ago. Receiving error message "cannot connect with remote server"

            So far we are able to connect to Kinetick and the website without issue. I would recommend restarting your modem/router and platform to see if this resolves the issue. Typically when we are unable to reproduce connection issues it is due to a regional outage or ISP issue that is affecting multiple clients, though I will continue to test and investigate this issue to see if there is anything on our end we can do to rectify the issue.

              The Kinetic Connection has now completely disappeared from my Dashboard.

                Thanks. Also, I didn't mention that it's just Kinetick that I can't connect to. I can connect to any other website under the sun. The NinjaTrader client is still connected to my broker. Thankfully, I rely on them for live data, so it'll only be an issue for me when I start to do backtests after the market closes. Hopefully, it will be fixed by then. If it's still down when the market closes, I will try restarting everything on my end. It seems that I'm not the only one with the issue, though.

                    Hmm. I take it back. It looks like I can access some websites, but not others. It looks like a lot of people are also reporting outages across the internet, so maybe it's not you guys in particular?

                        According to that link, there is a big outage in California, so maybe that's it? Luckily, I seem to be able to access my broker just fine.

                            I'm not seeing anything about it in the news on google, which I still have access to as well. YouTube and Gmail work also, but Yahoo does not. Interesting. Update on my broker: I can no longer access their website, but my data feed to the NinjaTrader client from them is still working. How odd.

                              Hello,

                              It seems this issue is caused by one or a few regional outages and is not specific to NinjaTrader or Kinetick at this time. So far we have tested from several locations but have been unable to reproduce the error/issue.
