    Data sync

    The data feed is not accurate is totally skewed the time zone setting makes no diferance

    Hello mgco4you,

    From the image I can't tell what the bottom chart is, if that is an external software I wouldn't be able to say what may be causing a difference. Another item is that the bottom chart appears to be the ES and the top chart is an MES chart in addition to using a different bars type. If these are from different data providers there could also be differences.

      Hey Jesse the chart below is for reverence and it is in sync with other platforms like TDA and MarveTrader and I say they are accurate and NT is not. Concentrate on the price not the chart type. Check the price on the header its waaay off,

        If the chart in the bottom of the image is something external then I wouldn't be able to say what the difference is between those charts or say that they could be compared. Looking at the MES and ES using kinetick data I see a similar chart to your top image. There was a large bar up this morning on both ES and MES followed by a drop.

          Jesse did you check Blogs post and you pay attention to the price that is 5 points behind on a 1m charts will you trust your platform to trade your money?

            The link you provided is not valid so I am not sure what you are referring to. As you are comparing an external chart I really couldn't provide any context on what may be different. If a different data provider was being used or different charting software you may see differences. The charts in NinjaTrader are based on the broker you are getting data from and the data that they provide.

              Post 3 I am referring to, never the less the problem is the data is dilate in both pictures on my the two posts TDA and Marve Trader their data is ACURETE NJ is 2 to 5 points latency. BTW this is a stupid statement on your part, “The charts in NinjaTrader are based on the broker you are getting data from and the data that they provide.” I am using NT for 15 years and this is a problem I have now find a solution and don’t waste my time going back and forth with stupid questions

                There can be differences between charting software for a variety of reasons, i would not be able to provide any context on differences when comparing against something that is not from NinjaTrader as we don't have details about that software. The two charts in your image also have a gap of time, from what I can see the last bar on the NinjaTrader chart is a 7:15 bar based on using 5 minute bars where as the other chart lists 7:37 with an unknown bars type. There was a price fall around 7:30 which you can see in the image i provided, you can also see that around 7:15 the price was going up in the other chart which matches what we see in the NinjaTrader chart.

                My statement is a not an incorrect statement. Your data in NinjaTrader comes from your data subscription with the broker you use. NinjaTrader platform does not provide your data, it works like a radio and listens to the data that the data provider is forwarding to you. If you had some problem with the data such as a connection issue you may see that it was not up to date, that does not mean the chart is incorrect that is what data it has to display.

                If you are seeing a problem with your brokers data you can report that by contacting your broker through email or if you are seeing a problem with the platform such as connection issues you can contact support[at]ninjatrader.com to report the problem.

                I can see the same general chart using a NinjaTrader chart and Kinetick data for the NinjaTrader chart you pictured, the chart you pictured seems to be accurate for the time pictured. The time in my image may differ based on the timezone that you have set in NinjaTrader options.

                  I see I am talking to the wrong person you could of told me the first time that is a data problem and not software problem no need to reply i got it
