the 2 hours window has passed and still no dice. fingers crossed!

This outage has been fixed, I'm able to connect from Chicago area again - the workaround was to use another location until now.

mazpat_3 thanks for the workaround, good to know for future reference. Pity it was included in the interruption to service Notification. Would have saved a lot of frustration
