It seems that now you need to create an account with NinjaTrader and even with that account the version you get does not allow connection to various data providers such as CQG, Rithmic, etc. Clearly I am missing something here. Your help in this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

NT8 New Version Download
I have a lifetime license of the NinjaTrader platform. In the past, as an existing user, it was relatively easy to download and install the new version simply by going to the ninjatrader.com site and using the existing user download link provided in the site footer. Clearly something has changed. Can you please provide me with a link from which I can download the new version? Thank you.

What you should do is create your account, and then under Settings -> Plan import your license code from 8.0 so you get all the features you have now. Then, in NT 8.1, in Tools -> Options check the box for multi provider and restart. You'll then have CQG, Rithmic, etc. if you have them now - it does not take anything away you just have to enable the features.

Thank you very much Bruce. I really appreciate the detailed explanation. I have done as suggested. I own three licenses and I have just found that the system will only allow you to import one license. Do you have any suggestions? If not, I will need to contact support.

This was Client Services’ (Licensing Q rather than Platform Support) reply to similar question on multiple licenses:
”You would import the APEX key first and then import the AMP key second. This would allow you to trade both accounts on the newest version without 2 separate license keys”
Haven’t done it though, so can’t comment.
Would be grateful if you choose to if you’d report results…

Zeos6 No, I don't have any further insight on this one. brucerobinson mentions that in response to another query the customer was directed to import them in a particular order. I think you'll want to contact NinjaTrader by email on this one, as they can see their side of the server setup for your account and advise you more specifically.

You can download new versions within the account dashboard linked below:
If you have multiple licenses you only need to import one, as your new user account can be accessed from any machine without restriction. If your licenses are enabled for different brokerages/combines with different enablements, I'd suggest writing into us so we can assist you in making sure you migrate the correct one.
