    Control Centre missing "Tools->remove ninjascript assembly"

    gm, I dont have the "Tools->remove ninjascript assembly" in my NT8 so i cannot uninstall indicators:

    Hello NTnoon,

    Please update to 8.1.1.3.


    After updating, are you still unable to see Remove NinjaScript Assembly in the Control Center -> Tools menu?

      Hmm, upgrading to 8.1 will be a jarring experience.
      I wouldn't recommend that yet.

      Exit NinjaTrader.
      Use Notepad to edit your Config.xml, do you see
      a section for References?

      If you recognize the 3rd party filename you prevously
      installed, delete that line, save the file and restart
      NinjaTrader. Also move/remove the 3rd party .DLL
      file out of the bin/Custom folder.

      Also, have you tried the 'Repair' feature?

        What kind of license key is currently installed into NinjaTrader?

          I think everyone might be forgetting something here - there was a Free Live Trading license key available that did not include NinjaScript Editor or a bunch of other things. Is this one of those?

            Hello Bruce,

            There was a Free Live Trading license, however this did not prevent assemblies addons from being imported or removed from my knowledge.

              thanks allot for all answers.

              problems started when i downloaded the NT lastest version: i installed and no place where to put my lifetime IB license.
              at the same time, NT site responded that my IB license could not be exported.

              the only way to keep trading was to go back to my previous version (8.0.26.), but unfortunatelly with new installation it was gone.
              so only alternative was
              to "download previous version" (8.0.27.1), on the https://account.ninjatrader.com/download

              screenshot posted (missing elements on the menu) is from that version installed.

              --

              this afternoon i re-installed latest version as suggested.
              i saw that the option of removing add-ons is there on tools menu, however i still cannot find where to place my license
              .
              so to trade i had to uninstall again and go back to the 27.1, which still miss the option mentioned.

              i guess i am missing something related with last changes/decisions on NT + login account for everybody

              are previous licenses still valid right?

              where NT versions can be downloaded without going throught this account.ninjatrader new system?

                This would be unexpected behavior when using 8.1.1.3.

                Please send an email to support [at] ninjatrader.com, and include a link to this forum thread. I would like to investigate further with you.

                  In 8.1 what you would do is log onto your account.ninjatrader.com control panel and import your license there in the Settings -> Plan area.

                    in order to download the 8.1, do i need to create an operational account in the https://account.ninjatrader.com/download ?
                    i was already holding a key license and my intention is keep trading with IB.
                    can i directly import key license from the link in the main page (last option)?:

                      Click on the green button to go into simulation mode (you intend to trade with IB so this is not important because it only concerns whether you are trading live or in simulation with NinjaTrader Brokerage) then follow these instructions to import your license.

                      Importing your live license which is configured for IB should give you Multi Broker entitlement (if it does not contact support and they will fix that), and then in Tools -> Options you will want to enable Multi Provider if it is not already.

                        Hello NTnoon,

                        To clarify, this is would not exporting a license. Instead, this would be importing a license key into your user account. Of which I have sent an email informing you, it is already imported and cannot import a second time.

                        You may have multiple simulatenous cases if you have sent multiple emails.

                        At this time, the case I am seeing, case 03848477, makes no mention at all about contacting Interactive Brokers. Have you replied to the email chain with this case ID?

                        What case ID is in the subject line of the email chain you are currently using to converse with the support team?
