Setting up Tradovate Connection on lifetime licensed Ninja trader

I am trying to add a Tradovate eval account on licensed Ninja Trader, and I keep getting "No accounts were found for this account type. Make sure you’ve chosen the correct value for account type in your connection settings (Logon failed)” error if I set it up as Simulation account type, and if I select Live account type, it connects to the NinjaTrader data feed but the account does not show only the Sim shows and I get 10 min delayed data.
The account is set up and I can see it on Tradovate. What am I missing?

Hi Tekie, please first contact platformsupport at ninjatrader.com and give them a description of this issue. I am not sure what is missing from this account that would prevent you from logging in.

Not sure what you're missing, but just posting to reassure that it's definitely possible. I got my NT8 setup to connect to both Apex Tradovate and Apex Rithmic accounts at the same time, with live data.



For Tradovate, it should be simulation account for eval.

Thank you for your replies, but it just started connecting this morning with the set up I had. I am assuming there was some kind of overnight update done on the back end to fix the issue
