How to paper trade Options?

I want to test trade the Ninja Options feature.....

I have an unfinded ThinkOrSwim account, can log on with that, and can also connect to the same account with Ninja TDAmeritrade interface

but no Options data coming into Ninja, on ThnkorSwim there is live (delayed) data

Delayed is OK

Advice?

(what are others using to trade options with Ninja?)

So I may accurately assist you, please answer all of the following questions:

• What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 8.?.?.?)
• What instrument symbol (and expiry if applicable) have you selected? For example, ES 03-22, AAPL, EURUSD, etc.
• Do you receive an error on the screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

Thanks for the reply.

TD Ameritrade only supports options data for equities in NinjaTrader; they do not support futures data. This is listed in the "Data by Provider" grid that may be found at the following link:

https://ninjatrader.com/support/helpGuides/nt8/data_by_provider.htm

I suspect if you load an equities instrument, such as AAPL, you should receive options data.
