Labeledlines

Hi: I downloaded and installed Labeledlines by

NinjaTrader_Jim

Everything works fine, except changing the text color, it defaults to Red but draws in Cornflower blue. If you change the color in "Price Offline Text color" to any color, it does nothing
Is there a fix for this? I'm using ver. 8.0.27.1 of NT

Thank you for your post.

The "Price Offscreen Text Color" is not the color for the line. To change the color of the line, you will need to expand the "Line" properties section and update that color from Cornflower Blue to your desired color. If you'd like to save any changes as the default, click template > Save > Save As Default. For more information about working with drawing tools and objects:

Thank You Emily for the quick reply, however my question was related to the text color not the line color. The line color works perfectly, however the text color does not. You can select any color in " Price offscreen text color " but it does not change the color of the text. I have attached a pic as an example of the problem. .
Is this a glitch in the tool or is there maybe a fix for this?

Although this is not a tool that comes with NinjaTrader by default, so there is no documentation about the functionality of how it should work other than the page from the User App Share where it comes from, my understanding is that the "Price offscreen text color" only applies to the text when the price on the label of the line is off the screen.

I was able to play around with a line and get the text color to change when the price was moved offscreen, as demonstrated in this video:

It appears that the text color is set to match the Line color. If you change the line color, the text color will also change.
