COT data is not plotted since today

    COT data is not plotted since today

    ​Hello,

    I'm facing the issue that the COT data is not plotted any longer to my chart. I get the message "COT data is still being downloaded. Plese refresh."

    But all the COT Data have been already downloaded.

    Yesterday everything was working fine.

    I'm using NT 8.0.27.1 64-bit.

    Hello, thanks for writing in. Please first check the log tab of the Control Center for any errors. You are one major update behind as well.

    To update to the latest version of NinjaTrader Desktop please follow the steps below.

    Login into the NinjaTrader Account Dashboard
    Click "Download" in the bottom left-hand corner of the sidebar
    Next select "Download" in the "Most Recent Release" Window in the main screen
    Once the installation had downloaded, ensure any previous version of NinjaTrader is closed before running the installation package.
    Note: You may need to locate this in your "Downloads" folder in a Windows File Explorer
    After the installation package is completed you will be able to log into NinjaTrader Desktop with the connection guide linked below.

      Hi Chris,

      Thanks for your quick reply. There are no errors in the log tab regarding COT data. Also, I don't want to update at the moment as I've read about a lot of possible problems with the current version.

      I mean it worked yesterday with version 8.0.27.1, why doesn't it work today?​

        Hi, Unfortunately, I can not tell you why this is not working for you. It is working on my PC with the latest version. If you do not want to upgrade, it may not be possible for you to use this indicator. One thing you can try is to delete the latest COT data from the database to re-request it from the server.

          Hi Chris,
          I am having a similar problem with the COT indicator. For me it is only loading data to the end of 2022. It was loading up-to-date data yesterday morning (~8am UK time), but since yesterday afternoon it is only loading data to the end of 2022.

          I was on version 8.0.27 yesterday but have just updated to the latest version and am still having the same issue.

            Hi futures_trader, Please first restart your PC fully and test again, please also check the log tab of your control center for any errors. If this does not resolve, you will need to send an email to platformsupport at ninjatrader.com to describe the issue and they may need to look at your log files to see if there are any errors.

              Thanks Chris, there were no errors on the Log.

              Another restart resolved the issue.
