Suppress warning messages from borker
Hi, I get an annoying warning message from IB every time it partly fills an order saying it has repriced it. I do not seem to be able to suppress this in TWS. Is there a way to suppress the ninjatrader popup dialogue box for a specific warning message?

Hello sjmuk1
If you are seeing a rejection then no there is not a way to disable the popup message. All rejections are handled as popup messages because a rejected order can effect how the strategy is running and also your account. To avoid that warning you would need to avoid the situation where you are getting that rejection based on the action you are doing.
One reason you can see that warning is If you submit a market order to buy, and immediately after a market order to sell the same instrument while the first order is not yet executed, the second order will be rejected, because you are effectively "trading with yourself". There may be other reasons, you can contact IB directly to go over specific orders that were involved with the rejection to get a better idea of the specific scenario you are encountering.

It is not a rejected order message. It is a warning about repricing an order because IB submit limit orders to the market for stocks even when you submit a market order. It is a pointless warning, it is not an order rejection.
Please have another think about your answer.

Hello Corvus,
The warning you are describing comes with rejected orders as a native error. You can discuss this with IB to better understand the reason for the warning based on the orders involved. The solution is to not do the action which generates the warning if you don't want to have to click OK to confirm the message. Any broker sent message is going to appear in the error box the same as any rejection and those always require you to click OK to acknowledge the message. To further this question you would need to reach out to IB to go over the orders in question.
