Lifetime key problem

Hello.
I have lifetime key for 3+ years. But didn't trade for a year. Recently I tried to resume trading and registered account with different email to register demo account. So I logged in with this demo account to ninjatrader app. And without my permission or knowing it my lifetime key attached to this new demo account. Now I cannot add my key to my main account because it is attached to the demo account. How can I remove key from this acc and attach it to my main? Why there's no warning that lifetime key will be added to account if you log in with windows app?

It sounds like your key was automatically migrated after updating to NinjaTrader 8.1, which is one of two ways to migrate your key as described in this help article:

That said, I understand now that your key is tied to a different email than the one you would like to have it tied to. I apologize for any inconvenience; you are correct that there is no warning when migrating by updating to the latest desktop version because the assumption is that most users will log in with their account tied to their existing email address. That said, I would be glad to assist you with correcting this via email. Please send an email to suppport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com and advise both email addresses involved, as well as which email is the new one with the demo vs. your previous email that you would like the lifetime key associated with instead.
