NT8.1 Connection to NinjaTrader and cTrader data feeds do not work

    NT8.1 Connection to NinjaTrader and cTrader data feeds do not work

    Hi,
    I have updated to version 8.1, but I donīt get the NinjaTrader data feed connection running. I can connect with my user id and password, but I donīt get any real time data and refreshing all historical data also does not help.

    Also I tried to establish a connection with cTrader where I also have an account. After selecting the correct account (netting) I connect to the cTrader data feed, but I donīt get any life data. There is no new data since last Friday. I hope that the cTrader data for NT is not an end of day data feed - havenīt seen any notice about that.

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    To clarify, once you have logged into the platform initially with your Account Dashboard credentials, what do you see under the Connections tab?

    Do you only see the following?

    If so, you would just need to check the multi provider box under Tools>Options>General and then you would be able to configure a "My NinjaTrader" and "My cTrader" connection with the guides below:





    If you have already completed all of these steps, please email us at platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN SEV 03813857" as the subject with your log and trace files and we can check your data enablements and if your account needs any further changes.

    Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.
    • Open the Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to "Documents" > Open the "NinjaTrader 8" folder
    • Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders

          No, I did not pursue this matter further and stayed with version 8.0.28.

              Same here. After connecting to cTrader data feed, the chartz are stuck doesnt update.

                You are right! 8.0.28.0 64-bit version is the best ninjatrader platform ever. Their newest version where you must log in with email is pure trash imo. 3rd party data feed is bugged everywhere, cTrader doesnt work, FXCM it take long time to load and become stucked and is inaccurate, Forex.com is missing data etc. Once installed the old version everything is smooth, accurate, lightning fast and great.
