Unable to run Ninja on new windows 11 install running on Azure or AWS

omololu I can only speak for Windows 10 Hyper-V, in which I run 8.1.x.x -- I will not install it on my "real" PC running 8.0.x.x. I am a vendor and I need to be able to do what's best for my customers, on 8.0... as well as may be possible on 8.1... . I have had no issues with virtualisation itself ... just all the issues with the new version that are affecting most people not using virtualisation.

At last ... Got it working on my MacOS/VMware/Windows 10 platform ... The requirements for installing to a VPS would be the same requirements as installing to a PC, to which I've linked below to our system requirements page:
As for other compatibility, common errors are sharing files between installations, port accessibility to connections, general connectivity issues, and general windows installation errors as well.
Much like installing to a PC, NinjaTrader should install and run without issue, however there are many computer/network based components that can affect functionality that may need to be diagnosed and addressed.

Hi All,
I got frustrated and decided to get a machine provisioned by ninjamobile VPS. It is truly baffling to me why Ninjatrader will not provide any guidance for running their software on a clean VM provisioned on Azure or AWS. Whatever is wrong is likely a simple configuration step. Since both AWS and Azure fail with the same exact error I assume it would be quick for support or dev to provision a machine and document prerequisite steps.
The support here is very inconsistent. You provided guidance on how to install on VMware Fusion or Parallels. That document was very helpful and solved installation issue i had when trying to test install on VMware Fusion. Why not close the loop and provide guidance for the two most popular cloud providers?

I am using @ home VMs to run multiple accounts and plan to move to a VPS for power, network stability.
I also wish to use Windows 11, hopefully you are aware that ninjmobiletrader is windows server 2016 not windows 11

Windows Server 2016 license is included with all subscriptions, allowing the installation of any Windows based software.
If they support Windows 11 but do not advertise, that is also great to know.

Sorry for the late reply... I know for sure they support Windows 2016 and I have been using them without trouble for several months. You might shoot an email to [email protected]
and ask if they can provision a Windows 11 machine.
I can say the service has been solid as a rock with no issues since I signed up months ago. If you have any issues support emails are answered quickly and thoroughly. If you need remote assistance that is available too. They also offer performance graphs that you can access from anywhere to monitor your VPS resource consumption.
After pulling my hair out trying to make this work on various cloud providers I am happy I found Ninja Mobile Trader.

What error or unexpected behavior are you encountering when running this version of the platform?
