How do pull a chart for forex

I have a demo account from forex.com and I can log in thru NT8, but then in the instrument list, I see only futures and nothing related to the spot currencies. So how do i chart EURUSD for instance ?

I would make sure the instrument is in the list; under the "Tools" menu, select "instruments"
If they aren't there, go to "Tools > Database Management > Update instrument lists"

Note: I use IB for Forex so I'm not sure if there is a specific way for FOREX.com

Thank you for your post.

In the instrument drop-down menu within your chart or other windows, like a SuperDOM, you should be able to see the FOREX folder, as shown on the attached screenshot.


It's also possible to manually change an instrument on a chart, simply begin typing the new instrument (EURUSD) into the Instrument Selector in the top left of the chart window, or directly onto the chart. These concepts are discussed here:

You can also manually add instruments to your Instruments list, by going to Control Center -> Tools -> Instruments lists. Under the Lists section left click on FOREX, then Under the Instruments section, click 'add' and type on your keyboard the symbol of the instrument. To save changes, click OK. After that you will be able to select that instrument on chart in the Instrument drop-down menu, in the FOREX folder.
