trailingstop fast markets

Hello,

I want to ask please what happens to my trailingstop if I move it with charttrader-atm close to current price (lets say a long position and trailingstop moves 2 ticks below current price) and same moment in fast moving markets the price goes down for 3 ticks. Will the trailingstop work at the price it has been before this last intended move, or might there be any technical issue because computer tried to move it up when same moment price came below the trailing-stop-price. Maybe the trailing stop is cancelled and I have a naked position, or the stop is there but will not work anymore because price is below? Or will it work anyhow because its a market-order?

(my language is not english, if something sounds strange.... I hope I could describe the story correctly).

When you move a Profit Target to the opposite side of the current price, it will fill at the next available price as it is considered to be at a better price than your Limit order. If you were to do this with your Stop Loss, the modification would simply be rejected and your Stop Loss would remain at its original price. Your strategy would not be canceled in this instance, and the same would apply if it were a Trailing Stop, where it would remain at its current price and its original Trailing Stop modifications would continue to take place.
